Earlier in the day, we informed you about the Lenovo's first flash sale for its A7000 device. The sale had gone live on Flipkart.com and the company has announced that they have managed to sell over 30,000 units in just four seconds.
Considering the skepticism of media around flash sales, Lenovo had organized a special live sale from Flipkart's Bangalore office and media was invited to see the same.
Lenovo had recently launched the A6000 in the Indian market, which too was sold on Flipkart via the flash sales model. It is good to see that its successor has also managed to get similar appreciation in the market.
For those unaware Lenovo A7000 comes with a price tag of Rs 8,999 and supports LTE connectivity.
In comparison to A6000, the A7000 sports a bigger display, faster processor, more memory, better imaging prowess and comes loaded with a big-size battery. Right now, there are many options like Yureka, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and Huawei Honor 4X among others, selling at this price point and A7000 merely fits into this contingent with aplomb.

Lenovo A7000 sports a 5.5-inch HD display and running on Vibe UI over Android 5.0 Lollipop flavour. It packs a 1.5GHz octa-core Mediatek CPU with 2GB RAM and offers 8GB storage, which can be expanded further. This dual-SIM phablet still supports 4G LTE connectivity and comes loaded with 8MP rear and 5MP front snappers. Lenovo has backed up the A7000 with 2,900mAh battery and it weighs just 140 grams.
