Xiaomi Mi4i is a good smartphone with decent specifications and a very attractive price tag of just INR 12,999. The smartphone is exclusively available on Flipkart for now and lots of users have reported heating and memory management issues with the device. This is not a new case most of the Xiaomi devices heat like hell. They have internet memes about Redmi 1s being a heater and its off season. I won’t get into that maybe some other day but today I will help you fix your Mi4i. Fixing Heating issues in Mi4i is actually a simple procedure you just need to flash the update using Xiaomi’s updater application. You can also use custom recoveries like CWM or TWRP for the same.I won’t be responsible for any kind of damage to you and your smartphone. Fix Heating Issues of Mi4i
- Download the MIUI 6 v6.5.5.0.LXIMICD ROM file from the link mentioned below.
- Now connect your Mi4i to your computer and transfer the file to root directory of your smartphone.
- Now navigate to updater application and in the top right corner you will observe an icon with three dots press it.
- Select “Choose Update Package” from the options and browse the file you just transferred to your phone.
- It will commence flashing the ROM wait till the procedure if finished. Then Reboot.
- Your phone will have latest MIUI v6 6.5.5.0.LXIMICD version.
