Cyanogen will soon replace Google apps with Microsoft ones for you

There's a reason behind every move in the business arena
these days and that's very much the same for tech sector as
well. First, Microsoft buys Nokia, why, because they want to
compete in an Apple-like ecosystem (wherein hardware and
software are governed by them).
Lenovo buys Motorola and most recently, Microsoft
invested its software-earned money into a company which
is looking to take over Android duties from Google over the
foreseeable future. It's none other than Cyanogen who has
now decided to put Microsoft's apps on the devices running
on its custom build. In simple terms, the OnePlus One and
Yu devices (for starters) will get bestowed with services like
Bing, Outlook and Office among others pretty soon.
"Microsoft and Cyanogen Inc have announced a partnership
to bring Microsoft applications to Cyanogen OS."Under the
partnership, Cyanogen will integrate and distribute
Microsoft's consumer apps and services across core
categories, including productivity, messaging, utilities, and
cloud-based services. As part of this collaboration,
Microsoft will create native integration on Cyanogen OS,
enabling a powerful new class of experiences," the
statement which confirms this anti-Google development.
Cyanogen has openly confessed its mission to make
Android, as open source (and away from shackles of
Google) as possible in the coming years and it's easy to see
the Microsoft-Cyanogen deal being start of really big things
to come.
Will users be comfortable with the move to bring Microsoft
apps aboard their Cyanogen devices pre-loaded to them? Or
will they make a convincing case for Google to retain their
rights on the most popular mobile in the hemisphere.
Will you like a OnePlus One with Bing as default search? Do
share your thoughts on that and much more.
