MIUI 6 for OnePlus One is now available as expected because it is one of the most popular Android smartphones. It should be because the company was offering high-end specification with a third of the price. Even though we don’t consider it as a flagship killer now, but it is still able to beat most of the flagships this year. The smartphone is loaded with a 5.5-inches Full HD capacitive IPS display with TOL (Touch On Lens) technology and has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Quad Core CPU with Snapdragon 805 SoC and Adreno 320 to handle graphics. It features a 13MP and 5MP camera sensors for back and front respectively.
OnePlus One is having ample of custom ROMs because the source code of device is free for developers. Unlike other companies primarily Xiaomi which tends not to disclose their smartphones source codes for whatever reason but that’s not the case with OnePlus.
Prepare your device
- Make sure you have TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) installed on your phone.
- Enable USB Debugging in case of trouble and keep ADB and Fastboot in handy.
- Charge your smartphone enough to last the process.
- Most Important backup all your data.

How To Install MIUI 6 For OnePlus One
- Download MIUI 6 For OnePlus One and Google Applications from the link below.
- Now transfer these files to root directory of your smartphone (internal storage).
- Disconnect your OnePlus One.
- Now boot your device into recovery mode, to manually enter into recovery mode first turn your device off. Now press and hold Volume Down and Power key simultaneously to enter into recovery mode.
- Once inside recovery wipe cache, dalvik cache, data and system. Internal is optional.
- After wiping select install and browse the MIUI 6 file for OnePlus One. Install the file.
- Then install Google Applications.
- Reboot to the system.
